Dirilis: Ertugrul is a Turkish historical fiction and adventure series. The main character, Ertugrul, is a 13th-century Turkic Muslim nomad warrior. He is the son of the famous Turkish warlord, Osman Eltz, and his wife, Selcan. The series starts with Eltz sending his son Ertugrul to ask for land from the ruler of the nearby city of Aleppo. However, this is not an easy task, as the city is controlled by the powerful Mongols.
In the meantime, Ertugrul and his tribe are forced to live in the mountainous region, where they fight against the Mongols for shelter and survival. They are also attacked by the Byzantine army, led by a commander, Nasir.
After defeating Nasir, Ertugrul and his tribe are allowed to live peacefully in the region. But, this is not to last. Ertugrul is forced to leave his home and go into the battle against the Mongols. There, he and his tribe face many dangers and difficulties, and they must try to survive.
The first season of the series shows how Ertugrul manages to defeat the Mongols, and how he and his tribe get away from the danger.
